Last week we decided to put my husband’s Toyota Tundra on Craiglist to see what would happen because we were tired of paying $100 to fill up the tank. We sold it in 8 hours for the full Kelly blue book value!!!
For a week and a half I research cars and search ads to find the best car to fit our needs. We wanted good gas mileage, safety, room for the family, and low mileage. Three days ago we finally found the perfect ‘new to us’ car! We found a 2003 Buick Lesabre (yes the old lady cars). The car had 60,000 less miles, much better gas mileage, new tires, lots of room for the family, and cheap insurance for only $200 more!!! We loved the Tundra but it just cost us a lot of money to fill it up.
The Buick is fully loaded and in perfect shape. It the cleanest car I have ever seen-this won’t last long with 2 kids. The car even tell us what our gas mileage is. Yesterday I got 26 miles to the gallon around town!!
We got our Buick at the used Saturn lot. They say that their sticker price is the price, but we got them down $1,000!! We research the gas mileage and safety before we got the car and took it to a mechanic to check out. We also check the car fax report to find out the car’s history.
Even though I look like an old lady driving my new car I love it and think it was a smart buy for our family.
