It is very helpful to know where you can and cannot use competitor’s coupons so you can get items at rock bottom prices. Some stores will advertise they accept competitor’s coupons, however most will not.
Use competitor’s coupons to get items at rock bottom prices. Many times one store will have an item on sale, but not offer any coupons. At the same time another store will have a coupon, but the item is not on sale.
Example:
Petco may have a $10 off $30 purchase, but PetSmart had the dog food on sale. We could go to PetSmart and get the sale price for the dog food plus use the Petco coupon for $10 off of $30.

It is important to continue checking with your stores in case they change their policies regarding coupons! Many local grocery stores will say they do not take competitor’s coupons, but if you ask a manager they sometimes will make an exception. It never hurts to ask.
