Welcome back to Becentsable’s Holiday Boot Camp!
As it begins to turn colder, thoughts, lists and ideas of Christmas shopping begin running through my brain. I have to say so does a little bit of PANIC to shop for 3 children plus extended family.
I saw a perfect SANTA gift for our 3 year old – Hot Wheel Wall Track. We uncovered our oldest son’s old hot wheels and would love to build on what we have to play with instead of starting over. New Toys means Money.
Since our move to our new home in June of this year, I have been collecting all of the clothes that our younger two children have outgrown.
Today was the DAY! I was inspired to take all of those bags to a consignment store and sell what I could for CASH!
I know some people feel you might not make as much money selling to consignment store but I have NOT had good luck with garage sales or larger consignment swaps. Plus, I’m not sure I have the patience to sit outside or tag everything. So, I LOVE consignment stores! In an hour and a half (with no appointment), I sold about 30 pieces and one pair of shoes for $44.25! Cha-Ching! This money makes the panic a whole lot less! Now, what else can I sell?
I’m so excited to have a great start to our Christmas stash! It was very easy! I encourage you to see if you can MAKE SOME MONEY!
