Let me show you some easy Halloween decorations on a budget! Most of these Halloween crafts are things you already have in your house.
Halloween Decorations On A Budget:
I hope this gives you some fun ideas for Halloween decorations on a budget. Remember, it does not have to be perfect, it just should be fun.
Jack-o-Lantern Garland Halloween Craft:
This is an easy project made with orange paper plates, black construction paper, glue, hole punch and ribbon or string. These hang nicely over windows or in front of fireplaces.
- Cut out Jack-o-Lateran face shapes from the black paper.
- Glue them to the plates.
- Punch holes in top of plate and string through the ribbon.
- You will need to tie a knot above each plate to keep them from sliding.
Ghost and Jack-o-Laterans Milk Jugs:
You will need some gallon milk jug, black permanent marker, and a craft knife for the ghosts and for the pumpkins you will also need orange and green paint and a paint brush. Use a string of Christmas lights to light them up at night. These can also be used outside the house.
- For the ghost use a rinsed milk jug and draw on a face. On the bottom in the back cut a hole to place lights.
- To make the Jack-o-Lateran cut out face and hole in the back with craft knife. Then paint.
Ghost From Plastic Grocery Bags:
I love this Halloween decoration. It is made from plastic grocery bags! You will need 8 bags, a black marker, scissors and twisty tie or string.
- Take 5 bags and ball them up and stuff them in another bag’s corner.
- Take 2 other bags and put their corners up in the neck and allow the rest to hang down. This will make the bottom fuller. Secure the neck with twisty tie or string.
- Cut the bottom bags into strips.
- Draw on face with the marker.
- Finally hang somewhere spooky.
Salt Dough Ghost Craft:
These are salt dough ghost. Here is the recipe for the dough and some hints for drying them in the oven. After drying take a marker and decorate.
Halloween Pictures:
If you already have pictures hanging cover them with a ghost made from construction paper.
