Kudos to Crystal for making her own bread. It’s so healthy and saves you a little money (especially if you’d typically buy the healthy bread at $3+ a loaf). Both Chrissy and I have been making all of our family’s bread for a few months now and once you get into the groove…it’s easy as pie! See our recipes here and share your own! I have to say though…milling my own wheat flour is NOT something I would have imagined. Maybe someday…
For this week’s Make It Yourself Monday we decided to share a tip we read in a local parenting publication (Mother and Child Reunion)
Fabric Softener Sheets…it’s not a full-blown Make It Yourself but it’s close and VERY frugal! The winter’s here are so dry we can barely stand it and as my mother-in-law has discovered, the inexpensive softener sheets/liquid just don’t cut it from about Thanksgiving to Easter! So – how can we make our expensive liquid fabric softener go further??? Or, if you can use the less expensive stuff, how can you save even more?
