At our workshop last night we had a request to post all of the cleaning tips we could find that were all natural, non-toxic and frugal!
Chrissy and I use nothing but common household ingredients for cleaning. I honestly didn’t think it could be done but once I tried it I was a believer!
Vinegar is a natural disinfectant and will eat through basic gunk (even dog slobbery windows!), baking soda and lemon juice will help cut tough grease and grime, salt will soak up stains in many kitchen appliances, olive oil will poilish your wood and hydrogen peroxide will help whiten whites and soften your sweaters in the wash!
Here are the ONLY items we use to clean with:
- Vinegar
- Baking Soda
- Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Olive Oil
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- coffee filters and cleaning rags
Last week for Simple Solutions Saturday we posted a list of things you can clean with vinegar!
Come back this Saturday for the next installment of Simple Solutions Saturday! Our topic will be household cleaning with baking soda!
Here is a post from a few weeks ago about why we clean with these products, and here for disposing of your commercial products properly!
