I decided to do a two weeks worth of shopping at once since I was at Walmart and could price-match everything.
Here is what I bought at WalMart and CVS
I spent $100 which is a bit under two weeks worth of my new budget posted on the Grocery Challenge ($65/week, so $130 for two weeks) – I’ll still have to get milk (but I’m counting on a Walgreen’s deal to do it for free!), more chicken strips, produce and some shredded cheese.
3 gal milk
6 lbs Tyson chicken strips
5 limes
4 lemons
24 oz Stoneyfield Farms yogurt
1/2 gallon Horizon Whole Organic milk
(4) 8oz pkg cream cheese
6 cans starkist tuna
2 boxes Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereal
1 32 oz box rice
2 lbs bananas
1 pkg Hormel All Natural deli meat
16 oz sour cream
24 oz cottage cheese
2 mangoes
2 avocados
2 boxes Glad Forceflex trashbags
2 pkgs Kraft Live Active cheese sticks
(4) 6ct Mott’s applesauce
5lb bag Gluten Free Flour blend ($12 all by itself!)
1 lb strawberries
2 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 lb turkey patties
(3) 15.5 lbs Purina Complete Naturals dog food
3 pkg CVS pads
It was a lot of $ but also a lot of food to last us two weeks!
