The challenge this week is limited to a prayer request and keeping a family in your thoughts.
Saturday morning the husband of a new friend of mine was killed in a bicycling accident. I don’t know the family very well but I was just becoming friends with the woman.
I can’t imagine going through something like what she, her young children and extended family are now faced with. My husband cycles every weekend as well so this particular tragedy hit home in a familiar way.
I hope that I will be able to show her and her family some support in the coming weeks and I would ask that if you are so inclined…please keep this family, and all others suffering a tragedy or loss, in your prayers.
