…Keep Your Fingers Crossed
Each Friday, I have high hopes for the weekend! I’m hoping, like most of you probably, that I will have more time to get things done because my husband is home to help with the kids. Or that the weekend won’t go by as quickly as the weekdays do and I’ll be able to do all that "fun" stuff I don’t get to on a regular day !!
Well here’s to hopin’!

One of MY New Year’s Resolutions is to be more diligent about meal planning! It’s super important with two kids on a GF diet and it’s crucial to meeting my grocery budget each week!
I’ve been out scouring the web for resources and have a few of my favorites listed below. I’m sure you’ve heard of several but maybe there’s a new one in the mix OR maybe you’ve just not been using them as resources! Either way, I hope it helps you!
$5 Dollar Dinners: great frugal recipes AND she follows a GF, Soy Free and Dairy Free diet for her boys! Right up my alley!
Crockpot 365: a full year (yes EVERY day) of crockpotting!
eMealz: Subscription service whose meal plans are based on Sales Cycles at the stores they cover (in the South and West – but includes WalMart, Kroger Affiliates and an "any store" plan). We really like this service. It’s a good bank to pull from and the meals are simple and our kids have liked them all!
Meal Planning Mommies: great new resource I just stumbled across today. They want you to send them your family favorites to share!
Organized Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday: a million (well, maybe just shy of it!) ideas for your weekly menu.
Sneak Peek: We’re ferociously working on a menu planning series so keep checking in for that announcement!
Now, I’m on a mission to find the best cookbooks…leave a comment or link to your favorite cookbook or meal planning book and why you love it! I love to have something in my hand to look at!
