BeCentsAble is going to be on Good Morning America for the second time! Set your DVRs (or, if you’re old school like me, pop a tape in the VCR) or plan to watch tomorrow morning. It’s going to be a great show!
It’s the $15 Dinner Challenge. Each Good Morning America anchor was challenged to shop for a restaurant quality meal’s ingredients for a celebrity chef to prepare with just $15. That might sound doable to seasoned bargain shoppers, but there’s more! They also had to have enough money left over to be able to buy food to donate to food banks. With 32 million Americans using food stamps, food banks are in dire need and hope that all of us can find a way to help.
Diane went first with Mario Batali: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/
Then Sam Champion/Emeril Lagasse: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/
Then Chris Cuomo/Cat Cora: http://abcnews.go.com/Video/
Next is Robin Roberts who shopped with our very own Chrissy for Wolfgang Puck! Chrissy and Robin managed to buy meat and come in under budget so they could buy food pantry items!
Here is the promo link for tomorrow: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/
