After several weeks of skipping CVS, I got my CVS shopping out of the way on Sunday this week and I discovered a few good deals I haven’t yet mentioned.
1. CVS Pantiliners are advertised as being on sale this week for $0.89 with an $0.89 ECB, but I actually received a $0.99 ECB instead making this a small moneymaker without even trying! Every little bit helps. I’m curious whether anyone else received a $0.99 ECB or if it could have possibly just been at my store.
CVS Pantiliners, 22 count $0.89
Receive $0.99 ECB
Final price: Free plus $0.10 overage
2. Another freebie I found was in the hair styling products. Organix products all had “Try Me Free” hang tags that can be submitted for a full rebate with an original receipt.
3. Bayer Glucose Meters are free plus overage throughout July.
Bayer Contour Glucose Meter $19.99
Get $5 ECBs
Use up to $30 coupon in the 3/22 SmartSource or 3/1 RedPlum inserts
Final price: Free plus overage
(Limit 2)
A cashier once asked me what in the world I was going to do with a glucose meter. I guess she assumed I wasn’t diabetic (I’m not) but I am pregnant and I haven’t yet passed my glucose test to prove I’m not a gestational diabetic so I’m going to hang on to the two meters I bought on Sunday until I hopefully pass my O’Sullivan test later this week. If I am not a gestational diabetic and have no need of the meters myself, I still walked away with $10.00 in free ECBs and I can pass the ten test strips per box onto a family member of mine who does have diabetes. Test strips cost about $1.00 each. I love being able to help others through couponing!
