Since starting to shop the Becentsable way in November of 2008, I have saved hundreds of dollars and have a lot of success stories to tell. My favorite, however, is when Hen House was having a sale on Quaker Instant Oatmeal (my kids’ favorite) and Purex laundry soap. As the cashier totaled my purchase I noted the amount before my coupons-$56.72. Then came the time for redemption-of my coupons, that is! My loyalty shopper card applied the sale price to the items, which I timed with the coupons I printed from the Internet. By using these combined methods my total price came down to $4.53. The cashier (who I might mention was in training) was speechless-he looked at the total again and then said, “I need to call the manager. I have done something really wrong!” I laughed and said , “No, no you didn’t do anything wrong-I did something totally right!” I was so excited as I left the store that I could have done cartwheel through the parking lot!
