Extra padding, or cushion can be a good thing! Especially when you fall … short!
Many budgets are unsuccessful due to underestimating how much spending occurs or just simply forgetting about areas where money is spent.
When you first make your categories, give yourself a small cushion to help with forgotten expenses. Wiggle room is worth it in the long run.
