This was our second year using them after years using one of the other installable programs. When I looked last year, we didn’t qualify for some of the free programs because we don’t file 1040EZ so Tax Act was a great option. You can also e-file state (for an additional fee) or print and mail your state return (free). I’ll admit I did pay for the Deluxe version ($9.95) from Tax Act because it pulled in all of last year’s information but that’s optional even for returning users.
