I save money (and calories) by using clear mustard & ketchup squeeze bottles to put my family’s salad dressings in. The bottles’ small tip and squeeze function allows for better control of the salad dressing. I cut down the amount of salad dressing we were using by half. I came up with this when I was dieting because salad dressing always came out in a big blob and I used way more than I needed. Once I did this for all the different types I realized I didn’t have to purchase dressing as often. Plus its fun to draw faces with the dressing!

Very good idea! This also is useful for vegetable oils. I funnel oil into a smaller-top glass container, so that there is no waste and excess calories as there is when pouring from the original plastic bottle. Also works well if you can round up an empty spice jar that has a plastic single-holed cover; the kind that you have to give a little shake for the product to come out. Something like a small hot-sauce bottle.
