I thought the $2/$10 beauty bonus was just on specific beauty items?

I went to Wal-Mart to use 4 Gain coupons I had left. I had also taken along my Menard’s ad. My husband needed a pair of reading glasses. They had a 3 pack at Menard’s for $3.96. Since no brand name on the glasses, I was able to use my Menard’s ad to get the 3 pair of reading glasses for $3.96. Then I used my overage for the Gain($4.00.) I only had to pay tax of $.24! This was a great deal & my husband was very impressed with his 3 new pair of glasses! Also later I checked at Menard’s & the frames were all just plastic. The 3 pairmy husband received were all nice metal frames! What a deal!!

Let me start by saying “I Love Target!” Now Target and I have not always been on the best of terms. We had a definite love-hate relationship. I loved shopping there but hated dropping $100+ every time I set foot in a store. Since I started couponing, our relationship has become a source of joy for me. This is definitely one of the best trips I’ve ever made to Target. Here’s what I got:
10 Goodlife Recipe cat food singles $.38 (used 10 $1.50/1 MQ)
1 HappyTot organic superfoods $1.49 (used 1 free product Q’s)
4 Nature Made Vitamins $5.47, $5.00, $5.00 & $4.28 (used 4-$3/1 MQ & $5/3 & $1/1 TQ)
Excederin $3.59 (used $3/1 TQ & $1/1 MQ)
Sally Hansen nail polish $2.04 (used $1/1 TQ)
3 Circo toddler’s shirts $1.00, $1.00, & $2.50 (used 3 $1/1 TQ)
2 Revlon nail clippers 2 @ $1.59 (used 2 $2/1 MQ)
Revlon emory boards pack $1.27 (used $2/1 MQ)
Up & Up cotton face pads $.99 (used $.50/1 TQ)
Big clear 10 gallon tote $6.78
And what did I spend on all of this?
$2.85 for tax! (My subtotal was $0.00 before tax.)
Now, we don’t have a cat (my son is allergic) but my sister’s cats will be very happy.
