Some stores allow you to use two coupons on one product. This is called coupon stacking. Only stores that issue their own store coupons allow coupon stacking because one coupon must be a store coupon and the other must be a manufacturer’s coupon.
It’s easy to tell store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons apart because that information is written on the coupon. A manufacturer’s coupon will say the word “manufacturer’s coupon” on the coupon or you will see the store name “Target” on the coupon.
Stacking coupons often allows you to buy products for very little money or even to get them for free. Here is an example of a deal I got a few weeks ago at Target.
Philadelphia Cooking Creme, $2.49
Use $1 off Target Store Coupon
Use with $1 off Manufacturer ‘s Coupon
Final Price: $.49!!
Lots of grocery stores issue store coupons! Many times you can find store coupons in the ad. Also make sure to check your local store’s website, get a store loyalty card and sign up for email notifications. Recently, I was able to use stacking to get 6 boxes of cereal and MAKE $5.56!!
General Mills Cereal, $2.49 each (I got 6)
Total: $14.94
Use $10 off Store Coupon
Use with $0.75 off Manufacturer’s Coupon, used 6
Paid: $0.44
Get back a $6 Catalina Coupon (store coupon that is good for my next visit)
Final Price: FREE + $5.56 moneymaker!!!

My store, HEB, offers their own coupons, but the coupons say that they can’t be combined with any other offers.

Cindi,
Most coupons say this but the stores will let you do this because they come from different sources. A store coupon is funded by the store and the MF coupon is funded by the MF, so the store will get its money for the coupon. I would check with your store if you have concerns.
