Freezer Quick Guide:
The times listed below are approximate, if packaged correctly and held in a freezer with temperatures below 0 degree Fahrenheit and stored in moisture/vapor proof paper.
Meats:
- Raw Roast, Steaks, Chops, Beef, Lamb 6-9 months
- Ground Meats 3-4 months
- Broiled, Fried, Roasted Meats made with Meat Stock 2-3 months
- Frozen Packaged Meats 3-4 months
- Fresh Whole Poultry 4 months
- Fresh Poultry, cut in Pieces 6 months
- Cooked Poultry 4 months
- Duck 6 months
- Pies, Stews, Creamed dishes, Gravies with poultry stock 4 months
Seafood:
- Fresh Fish 2-3 months
- Cooked Fish 1 month
- Clams, Lobster tails, Scallops 3 months
Eggs:
- Liquid Egg Substitutes 1 year
- Yolks separated (mix yolks with 1T sugar per yolk) 6-12 months
Fruit and Vegetables:
- Apricots, Nectarines, Peaches, Berries, and Cherries 12 months
- Asparagus, Beans, Carrots, Peas dried 8 months
- Corn (in husk, paper bag) 8 months
- Spinach, Kale, Collards, Beets, Turnip, Mustard Greens 8 months
