Here are a few tips and tricks to help you survive a day at the Theme Parks with kids:
Don’t let them get hungry:
- Try to eat around their normal times.
Don’t lose the kids:
- Have a meeting point.
- Tell them what to do if they get lost.
- For younger children label a wristband with your phone number or put an index card under their shirt.
Don’t go crazy with sugar:
- Try to spread out the treats or you might have tummy aches.
Take frequent breaks:
- Stop before they have to go!
Let them play:
- Make sure you give the kids several breaks to just play or run around.
- Most theme parks have playgrounds, so make sure you know where these are.
Dress for success:
- Dress in layers.
- Bring a change of clothes in a zip lock bag.
Bring a stroller:
- Even older children that don’t normally ride in stroller will get tired at Theme Parks.
- Mark your stroller with a ribbon to help you find it quick.
Call it a day:
- It’s better to leave early than have a melt down and ruin the day!
