Organize & Save-Problem Area #3 – The Office
- Step 1 – Took everything out the OFFICE
- Step 2 – Cleaned everything off of the desk
- Step 3 – Grouped LIKE items together (office supplies, work, personal, resources etc.)
- Step 4 – Developed a plan (decided where everything needed to be, or go to).
- Step 5 – Put everything in its designated place, arranged and labeled.

Organization Tips:
- I separated my office into work and personal. I have all my personal stuff in one area and all my work stuff in another area, so the two do not mix.
- I created an action basket for both work and personal. This is where I place anything that needs to be followed up on or put away. When my basket gets full I must stop and take care of this.
- I also created a journal. I had lots of lose paper around with notes everywhere. Kristi suggested that I keep a notebook with all my notes in one place. I put the date on the top and write out my to do list, grocery list, important information that I need or notes. I highlight anything that is important that I will need to come back to in the future. I keep one notebook and use this for both business and personal.
