I believe this may be my most perfect loaf yet! It reminded me of how much I LOVE making all our bread and how far I’ve come in the past few months.
I typically make it myself, I sometimes use the bread maker to mix for me but I don’t like the way it rises in the bread maker so I always take it out and bake it in a loaf pan in my own oven.
Here is my recipe: it’s modified to be a bit healthier (no oil) and you could always substitute all WW flour for the white that I use.
Homemade Bread
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c warm water (110-120 degrees)
- 3 Tbs Honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c organic WW flour
- 1 1/2 c organic white flour
- 2 Tbs brown sugar
- 1/4-1/3 c flax seed meal
- 1 1/2 tsp yeast
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to your breadmaker
- Set to dough cycle
- When complete, remove, knead lightly
- Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise to doubled in a warm place.
- Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 30 mins (until browned and sounds hollow when knocked).
