Halloween is coming! We have two children (5 1/2 and 3 yrs.) that are small enough that they enjoy dressing up and attending events including trick or treating. Our 17 yr. old is not into dressing up anymore.
In our move this summer, I found a “like new” clown outfit, our oldest wore when he was little with the funny wig and big shoes to boot! Cha-ching!
I also took about 15 minutes and dug through all of our dress up clothes to figure out what we could put together and use as costumes. I was amazed! I found a Knight’s outfit (we purchased as a souvenir for our son earlier this year), Pirate Pajamas, Ballerina Outfit with slippers, Rainbow girl or boy, Hula girl or boy, Veterinarian, a Flower Fairy, Cinderella and an Angel!
Now all I need to do, is figure out a way to get my little ones to decide what they would like to be for Halloween. I wish you and your family a healthy, happy and safe holiday!

A great idea! I encouraged my three year old daughter to choose one of her Disney princess “dress-up dresses” to wear as her Halloween costume. I find Disney princess dresses and shoes in great condition at our thrift store for as low as $.99 all the time, so my daughter has them all!
