I would only recommend using full fat or lowfat yogurt as the non-fat type tends to not set/freeze as well when you do things like this. This recipe yieldes about 28 oz of frozen yumminess and was adapted from Dr. Sears.
Homemade Frozen Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients
- (1) 24 oz container of Low-Fat Mountain High Yoghurt (all natural vanilla flavor), or another all natural, low-sugar yogurt
- 12 oz of fresh berries
- 1 whole banana for sweetness
Instructions
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into freezer safe container(s)
- Let set for 3-4 hours (longer for larger size containers)
