I’m not sure why, but there’s not a lot of interest in the Charity Challenge lately…could be the economy or maybe there haven’t been good deals on the things that need to be donated?!
At any rate, we’re going to try something new this week; highlighting a charitable cuase that’s also frugal!

Fleet of Flip Flops (organized by Jenny at A Latte Talk)
Basically it’s a drive to collect Flip Flops for kids Haiti who have NO shoes (not even one). Yes, shoes are a simple luxury but can you imagine being barefoot all day, all year long. What must your feet feel and look like??
Anyway, this is a very inexpensive way to give to very poor Haitian children!
